About Us

How it's made

From grey cloth to finished fabric

Every metre passes through five deliberate stages — sourcing, processing, inspection, packing and dispatch — coordinated end to end so the fabric that reaches you is exactly the fabric you specified.

Procurement of Grey Fabric

001

Grey fabric rolls stacked in a warehouse for procurement

Premium-quality grey fabric is sourced from reputed weaving units, each lot selected against the customer's specifications — composition, construction, GSM and width.

Processing

002

Fabric being dyed and finished on industrial processing machines

Pre-inspected fabric is sent to our best-in-class processing partners for dyeing, printing and finishing — coordinated closely to lock in the desired shade and finish.

Quality Check

003

Every roll is visually inspected for shade consistency, appearance and overall quality before dispatch, so it meets customer expectations before it leaves us.

Rolling & Packaging

004

Finished fabric rolls being wrapped and stacked on pallets

Finished fabric is packed in standard 100-metre rolls, or in customised lengths and packaging as specified — with custom labelling available on request.

Dispatch

005

Packed fabric is dispatched through reliable logistics partners, ensuring timely and secure delivery across domestic and international markets.

Our Journey

Woven through the decades

From a small room in the New Cloth Market to a trusted textile partner — the milestones that shaped Ambica.

1992

The Beginning

Founders moved from Bhadra to Ahmedabad with a vision to learn something in the textile sector. In 1993, Ambica was established with a vision to deliver quality textile solutions built on trust, integrity, and craftsmanship — starting in one small room in the New Cloth Market.

2001

Business Expansion

Bought our own big space in the market, expanded into a wide range of fabrics, and strengthened relationships with manufacturers across India. In 2010, Ambica was officially registered.

2017

Growing Presence

Expanded operations, increased product portfolio, and enhanced supply chain capabilities to meet growing customer demands.

2021

Building Strong Partnerships

Started two subsidiary firms — Nirbhay Textile Mill and Dharun Textile Mill — further expanding the business into digital print shirts and plain dyeing respectively.

2026 & Beyond
